Google SketchUp sold to Trimble

Just ran across this news item that Google has sold SketchUp. It's from Apr 26th but I had not heard of it until today. They say they will keep a free version, so we should be ok. I hope so.

Yes I know how to do that, Let me clarify, I meant visible grid.
I used to use Maya a lot in comparison Sketchup falls way short.

I didn't know what a Shopsmith was...
Three days later I owned one...
One week later I was rebuilding one...
Four months later I owned two....
Ok Ok, I'm up to four now...
