This year's trip

Post by ryanbp01 »

This year's trip will be to Spearfish, SD to visit a first cousin of my Dad's then dropping down to Rocky Mountain N.P. Does anyone know of a good place to stay either within the park or just outside of it? Also planning on visiting Caboose Hobbies when in the Denver area.

We were there a couple of years ago.....Stayed at a Best Western in Loveland, CO. Less than an hours drive to the park.

There were closer places, like Estes Park, but was way less expensive where we stayed.

Rocky Mtn is a beautiful park. On the "Go back and see more" list for us.

Lightnin-

It's a Pennsy K4s Pacific 4-6-2, like what my Grandpa used to engineer on the Fort Wayne Division (Crestline, OH to Chicago).
