I have been using the Nova G3 Chuck with my small bench top lathe which had a 9" limitation. Now that I'm starting to turn larger work on the Shopsmith is there any advantage to getting one of the full size chucks. I will probably be working with 12 to 14 inch wood at 3 to 4 inches thick.
