Darn! That does look like an interesting find. Unfortunatly, I already spent my monthly tool alotment. Plus, I already have two ShopSmiths and space is sort of at a premium right now.
As for accents, it all depends on what part of Maryland you are in. I've estimated we have about six different dialects in these parts. A friend of mine from college and I have a running joke about this. He's moved around quite a bit since college and currently lives up around Anckorage. He often talks about how folks in different parts of the country make comments about his Maryland (Baltimore) accent.

Well, I guess there will not be a trip down the bay to St. Michaels as the Shopsmith equipment has been sold. I hope someone here was able to take advantage of the deal. I will have to stuff my face with a sub from Cassapula's and wash it down with National Bo while gazing out on the Chesapeake Bay. Crab cakes from Woody's Crab house will be my desert.

We have a few sandwich shops that are doing pretty good, especially for cheesesteaks. These folks fly in Amorosa rolls from Philly daily. For me, the roll makes the sandwich.judaspre1982 wrote:I hope a member here got the items also.
Casapullas' and Woody's are always great choices.
As for subs,we are fortunate enough to have a Casapulla's , Capriotti's and my personal favorite Ioannoni's Specialty Sandwiches, all within 5 miles.
I don't think you can get sandwiches like these on the West Coast can you?
If your ever in the New Castle DE area look up Ioannoni's. They have an Italian style roast pork sandwich served with the juices that's 2nd to none.--Sorry Mama Jo:D
Dave
I may have to check out Ioannoni's if I go up to visit my in-laws in Wilmington. Capriottis that I have been to here and in Elkton do not come close to Casapulla's. I am not sure if they are using Amorosa rolls.
Thanks for the info. Oh and of course, the only way to drink National Bo is ice cold.

Salute to Mr Boh.
And for those who have no idea what we are talking about...this beer and crabs are, without a doubt, one of the greatest pairings. And, not the least of which, a local tradition that anyone who spent a lot of time in Maryland, especially Baltimore down would understand. Serious stuff to locals.
Now, Carling Black Label....that's another great one as well. Just my 12oz opinion.

Mabel, Black Label.......Of the two, I probably would lean toward Bo.holsgo wrote:Salute to Mr Boh.
