I'm delighted to see that SS will be in attendence at the IWF in Atlanta come August. It's time they got back out there with the big boys and made them selves known. To me, the PP headstock is a major step up in power plants for woodworking equipment and I hope they can turn some heads at this show.

Well they turned my head so fast I got whiplash :p Mine is shipping today :D Hope it comes in before the forth so I can install it on my day off. Also getting my garage/workshop ductless airconditioner installed next weekend. Just in time, it's been 103 all week here in the Houston area.

That might even entice me to go to the show in Houston - I think they have a show in Houston...:D

NOPE. It looks like it's ONLY in Atlanta, Ga.
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders,molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.

I hope it's not just for the new line of abrasives. Where did you see them listed as attending?

Oh well, such is life. I LOVE my DIY PP headstock. It's made shop time much more enjoyable (oh yes, AND quiet!).

Now, do I upgrade the other one - or not? Think, think...
