Incrafence with Routing System

Anybody use the Incrajig with Incrafence with the Routing System (555413)?
There are two mounting spots on each side of the table but they don't seem to set up the fence correctly.
My first attempt was with the fence on the left side of the table. This resulted in feeding the wood from the back of the table to the front. This was clumsy because of the rear mounted post for overarm routing, and sawdust was ejected to the front and I couldn't figure out where to place the dust collector pickup using the flexible utility kit mount.

I'd like to help but while you know what items you are working with I sure don't.

Incra jig, which one?
Incra fence, which one?
shopsmith 555413 = Item Number 555413 was not found.

I'm going to guess that you have the old overhead router system? The router is mounted on top or below?

Pictures always help.

I have the original Incrajig with the original Incrafence (also the right angle fixture and slider bar).
The Routing System is a stand alone table for both under and over table routing.

That has some photos that might help.

Photos of what you are attempting would be great.

If you have a 510, you could bring the 510 table to touch the router table and the same height. The 510/520 table has holes intended for mounting the shaper fence, but you could use a board to install some bolts to go through those holes if you wanted.

With all of those photos, I should be able to come up with something that works for me.
I have a 500 upgraded to a 510 and the Router/Shaper Fence. I hadn't thought of using the Shopsmith for an extended work surface but don't know how practical or steady that would be. It may limit access to the work table of the Router System.
When using the provided mounting spots on the Router System table for the Incrajig, the opening in the Incrafence doesn't align with the opening in the table for the router bit. I only have one Incrafence (but two of the Shopsmith Routing System fences).
Pictures of what I'm trying to do... I'm just playing with the Incra stuff that I've had for 20 years and hardly ever used.

Not sure if you are currently in CA or PA. If in CA, I have docs for the routing system if you do not.

I'm presently in PA (we summer there, and I moved all of my tools there where I have a nice shopbuilding in the backyard.
I have the Incrajig Handbook and Templates and all of my Shopsmith manuals, including the Router System. The Router System manual doesn't address use of the Incrajig and I didn't see anything on the Shopsmith website. I may have bought the Incrajig and Incrafence at the San Diego Shopsmith store back in '91, but I'm not sure.

No problem. I just checked my incra jig and freestanding overarm router table. My opening of my aluminum Incra fence lines up with the center of the lower router when positioned over what I believe to be the holes for the Incra jig. The fence is parallel to the sides of the the table. The holes I am using are the ones furthest to the right that would straddle a center line drawn through the center of the bit perpendicular to the side of the table. My table has another set (mirror image) on the left side of the table. I am sure it is obvious, but I swing the over arm out of the way when working with the lower router and tall pieces. If I need to work with longer pieces that would interfere with the column, I have another Incra jig fastened to a piece of plywood that I clamp at an angle to the table.

BTW, I was just back in the PA/DE/MD area.....I love it there. But for the weather, there is no place like home.

Rob,
There must be different tables.
I have a pair of mounting spots on the rear of the table that I marked for the Incrafence. I don't know where I got the instructions to use those holes. Not that it matters, while those holes keep the fence parallel to the long surface of the table, the router bit cutout in the fence is nowhere near the router bit.
I found another set of holes near the top right corner that align the Incrafence with the router. Unfortunately, the first template I was going to use required the Incrajig to be extended almost all the way, which is close to 3" past the router bit. I'll have to mount the Incrajig to a board that can use those holes or be clamped to the work table.
The weather's been hot for over a week: glad we air conditioned the place a couple of years ago. I miss SD, but we live in a condo there; we have 1/4 acre of land here and the lawn and yard work is good therapy. And a 400 square foot shop is nice, too. (I've got a window airconditioner in it but no heat. It's pretty chilly when we get here in the Spring.)
