First of all, I am not a Sketch-Up guru.....I use it to do basic 2-D drawings when I'm designing a project so I can set my proportions and get a general idea of what it is gonna look like. I've tried the 3-D stuff, and it's like trying to edit photos with PhotoShop....not my cup of tea and I don't want to invest the time and effort to be good at doing it.
That being said, I looked at one of the RSS feeds that I receive from Fine Woodworking Magazine..... Their "Design, Click, Build" blog They have lots and lots of How-To stuff in there and I thought I would pass it along. As of a few minutes ago, there are 285 entries in the blog that go all the way back to 2008.
Enjoy,
Bud F.
