Has the site been down or do I still have intermittent computer problems?

It was down for a short time for me this past weekend. However that is somewhat normal for here. Maybe it is some site maintenance or overwhelming net traffic. But is only for an hour or so. Other than that I have had no problems.

I got up early this morning and was not able to get on at all (Shopsmith). Thankfully it was not my problem this time.

Dusty! Next time you can't get on SS or one of your favorite other sites, type in http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com and it will save you a bit of frustration.

Thanks for the site, but I tried Google.com and it said it was down, but was working fine.

When I get that trouble loading etc page, I just go to another site. If that works, I know the path to SS or ss server is not responding (I can do nothing about that). If that other site also fails I check into JPG's stuff not functioning properly(wireless access point, router, windstream modem).

The ss downage seems to be fairly common, but recently has been of shorter duration.

IMHO these wap, routers, modems upchuck way too often!!!:(

I clicked on New Posts and received a no message found message. But I was able to just go to each of the forums and look at any new messages.
