First day with my ShopSmith

Post by teamtj »

I received my Mark7 PowerPro yesterday (Yeah!! :D ) and got it all set up last night.

Got some wax today and waxed the pertinent parts (may need some guidance on this bit, though) and started through the demos with the pieces of wood they provide.

I now have a nice extension for my miter gauge!

I can't believe how cool this tool is! I've been wanting to use one since my stepfather got his in the early 80's (the one in my signature line) and to finally use one is AWESOME!

Can't wait to really learn how to use it.

I will apologize ahead of time for all the silly questions I'm sure I will be posting in the near future.

Silly would be NOT asking the question. This forum is one of the most helpful I have ever been a part of.

Welcome to you and your new machine. Please update your profile with location, you never know when there may be someone close by to assist.
