A difference of 2% on my projected 2K$ is like ½ tank of gas.
Miss a days pay to go and I'd be better off ordering online.
Or worse... and I hate to use the "N" Word work Nights that day
I'd prefer to save the 40 bucks...
I just can't find a way to do it without incurring additional costs.
So I'll just go where and when it's convenient and render unto Caesar, Caesar's due.

I didn't know what a Shopsmith was...
Three days later I owned one...
One week later I was rebuilding one...
Four months later I owned two....
Ok Ok, I'm up to four now...

We will live in an unincorporated area (not in the city) when purchasing major items I always have them delivered and save many dollars. I suggest calling Shopsmith to get an appropriate answer prior to traveling to the event. I just checked my invoice which came from shopsmith and both purchases from demo events were charged as I indicated above. Jim
I was wondering about this, so I guess it really doesn't matter where you order from you still pay your own local tax rate.

Means you can't save money by finding a show in a cheaper tax rate area and also means if the show is in a high tax rate area you still can buy it there and pay your own lower rate.

Thanks for the heads up Jim.
