Shopsmith riving knife is a winner!

Post by bobgroh »

Finally got a chance to tackle a bit of 'funny' wood cutting which required some blind cuts (i.e. blade not coming through the surface) so I tried my SS riving blade for the first time. Really worked well! No sweat - the wood just walked on through the blade and little worry on my part about the wood pinching the blade and coming back at me. A sweet little addition.

Bob, it also works really good with a cross-cut sled.
