This appeared in my area ...

Post by camerio »

This offer just appeared in my area (Quebec city, CANADA)
I already have a Mark 520 and I don't have the space for this ....
It looks like a grennie doesn't it ?
The seller does not gives any details and is asking for a good reasonable offer ... what would that be ?

Greenie - yes.

Caveat Emptor!

Rusty bench tubes.(not unusual for greenies)

Parts in strange(unusual) locations.(seller unfamiliarity?)

Trunion????

Speed control knob on top of sanding disc.

Does it 'run'?

Live observation would be best determinate of 'value' to a purchaser
(that and how much time/effort would be needed to get it running etc.).

Thanks JPG for your observations and answers.
I will try to go and see it, just for my own formation, as I said in my original post, I do not have the space for it.
But I was thinking that I could recommend to someone else to go and make an offer on it.
But I also do not want to loose a friend because I made them a inexact recommendation on this tool.
I will let you know if I go and see it and I will be keeping in mind what you wrote.
