Best I can get for little to nothing money.... I hate to say that since I like to buy the best of the best when I can but I am restoring a 72 Chevelle so squeezing money out of my wife makes me cringe as it is!

I need help getting squared away so I can start practicing! My questions are what do I need to order so I can stick a piece of wood on this and start "making sawdust"? At the headstock it only has the stub of metal with no chuck or anything on it and the tailstock has no center at all.
