I finally have all the pieces to put together one of my shopsmiths!! I decided late to replace all the wedgelocks they came today.
I got the bench fully assembled and methinks square n level. All the painting is done just need to spray another coat of clear on the
polished aluminum parts should be dry in 15 minutes. In the morning I can finish the PP upgrade now that I have the new wedgelocks.
This thing was completely disassembled parts from Craig's list, eBay, and SS. It's all comin' together I'm excited.
Oh C*@P I forgot to polish the carriage wedgelocks I want the ends shiny and the inside smoooth. Gonna go do it now.

Not sure 'smooth' wedge locks is a good thing.
The surface that slides in the bore would be ok.
All but the sloping part could be 'shiney'.
