I really appreciate all the Forum members effort and Emails I have received about the loss of my web site. Since this web site was created only as notification of my Shopsmith work and that I do not sell anything through the web site, I have decided that I do not need to create another web site. Thanks for the help again.

Dr. Dave's wife did respond to me. Dr. Dave has switched to Moffett Cancer Center in Tampa, FL seeking another cancer expert and possibly into a cancer trial. He is not doing well and is in very poor health. We never know what the future may hold for us.

Bill,

If you'd like to keep it going, I'd be happy to host it for nothing...

To save you the money of buying a domain, it could have the address of something like http://billstoolz.teamtj.net if you'd like.

Let me know what you think...

Bill, I hope you will except Morgan's generous offer. You both deserve the recognition and can profit from the advertising the offer will provide.

Morgan thank you sir I am impressed with your generosity. Jim

I really appreciate your generous offer but will have to decline your offer. Since this business has now became a part-time hobby for me, I get enough work from previous customers and referrals to satisfy me now. I have plenty of in-house headstocks and SPTs that need rebuilding to last for a few years if I get too bored. I want to spend more time working on my modified double bearing quills, 110/220 VAC reversible motors, Gilmer clutches and speed control assemblies. I plan to continue to rebuild one or two headstocks each month to maintain my knowledge.

Thanks again for all the offers of help and assistance.

I am so sorry for your loss, both with your friend and your website, but very happy to hear that you are satisfied with your present situation. Looking forward to seeing you here for a very long time. If I had the funds, would be getting one of those new table systems from you. But, on my civil service retirement, have to pinch pennies like everyone else. LOL

I am amazed at what Shopsmith parts and equipment I find when searching a specific part that someone is looking for. I have a lot of equipment that needs cleaning more than needing additional parts that I never sold due to outward appearance. (510 main and floating/extension tables, carriages, bandsaws, belt sanders, joiners & jig saws. These items could still work if cleaned a litttle. I can sell these items very cheap as I do not see myself doing the cleaning and/or painting any time soon. If you want to invest in some cleaning and painting, I am sure I have something that would interest you.
