RV Soon to be back ON THE ROAD AGAIN
Well, it sorta is on the road again. Hopefully, it will be for real in a day or two. We are running out of time to ready ourselves for the Holiday Road trip.

Nice rig!
Where ya headed? Leaving just as the Snowbirds fly in.
Or, is the U's football team stinking up the WHOLE town?:D
Phyllis succumbed to the hype and bought 3 of those electronic pest repllers at ACE hardware. I was highly skeptical but, by golly, they seem to be working. There's one in a 3 sided carport, one in my shop and one in the house. The three places where mice loved to be. No evidence of the critters in 4 weeks now. Might give them a shot when you get the rig back.

What brand repeller are you using. I might get a couple. I'd be tempted to put two of them in/around the RV.Gene Howe wrote:Nice rig!

They are called "Pest A cator". She got them at ACE. They require an A/C outlet.
With colder weather setting in, the real test is yet to come. But, no signs since we plugged them in.

I like your rig there Dusty. I sure hope all goes well and you can hit the road. I'm parked till spring just got this one and now need to save for gas money to go out this spring. Hope to see you out there sometime.

I would enjoy that.kd6vpe wrote:I like your rig there Dusty. I sure hope all goes well and you can hit the road. I'm parked till spring just got this one and now need to save for gas money to go out this spring. Hope to see you out there sometime.
I hope to have the rig back either tomorrow or the next day. Most of the work has been done. We are now waiting on a couple parts.
Then it will be off to the tire dealer where it will probably cost me almost as much as I have already spent. The financial manager budgeted $1600 for tires. I need 6 but would like to replace the spare also..

Had to let me Holiday Rambler go after being out of work for that 1 1/2 but still have the Coleman Pop up I got in 2000 and it is still in really good shape and I have a Dodge Custom High top with TV microwave ref and bed. So between the two I hope to at least get some small trips in during Fall break. Don't have all the bells and whistles but that was how we started 30 years ago so back to basics. The real fun is all the people you meet and the land we see. Doesn't hurt seeing some nice crafts either.
Wanting to get to the Fall Christmas in Branson Silver Dollar City. One of my favorites for the holiday.
