Needing a Miter Guage
Moderator: admin
Truly Love what oldc6 did with his miter gauge;) Really good technique!
The only improvement I can suggest to his miter gauge is a added wood plate bolted in front of the gauge with sand paper glued to the face. The sand paper will prevent any slipping of the work piece. I've had a sandpaper face on my miter gauge and have never had an issue with wood slipping.

pictures better than words

They came from ROCKLER KIT.
brass coin slot was extra , not in kit.
the rest is oak , and bumpers and fenders are walnut.
made a couple of these two years ago, decided to make
two more now.. little bit tedious work but, doing it just for
a hobby. I have a guy who does lettering so, that will be on the sides
now, sanding stain and varnish, then to the letter guy..
everyone seems to like pictures so, will attach. the one shows the Rockler Kit
contents plus the coin plate.........
