For Ed Reible

Post by Gene Howe »

Private Message system isn't pic friendly. I need Ed to see this and this is the only way I can figure he'll see it.
Please excuse.

Hi,

Can't see much, this is the best shot I got.

It would appear that the wire goes though a hole and is crimped in place.

If you are not familiar with that these pictures might help

If the cable will not go thru the hole any more then you might try and find a substitute to crimp on.

Could it be the Jointech 'Rabbit' cable has broken? Mine failed fortunately while Jointech was still operating. Good luck.

Thanks Ed and Rob.
The cable is intact. The eye is factory bent at a 90 and slips into the slot in my picture. The problem is, it won't stay in the slot. Possibly, I need to twist it so the 90 faces down. That would make it much tighter in the slot as the barrel of the eye is wider in that orientation.
I'll give it a shot.
Thanks for the help and for taking the time. I'll let you know how it turns out. I may end up being "carrotless".
