Can't adjust quill tension.

That's right trying to get the spring back in it's right place is not for the faint of heart. After several trys and more failures I have said "uncle" for the day. This tension spring placement is not very forgiving. I had it once but thought the tension was too tight then back off too far and the springs slip again. Will try again later. Just bringing you all up to date. thanks for your help.

Send the kids and the woman to the mall for an afternoon of shopping. Then, while doing this, you can speak freely. This releases pent up emotion and allows you to concentrate.

Keep the first aid kit handy. That spring does bite from time to time. But it can be re-caged.
