Hi guys. I'm Rob and i just acquired a 1985 Mark V. Its was given to me by my grandfather in-law. Its been sitting in an open shed so it is rusted pretty good in some places. Have to replace the speed changer as it was broken when he bought it. but i have to tear the whole thing down to get it all back to a functional state to really see what I'm working with. I am very excited to have this amazing tool. :D

Welcome to the Forum:) You can review many of the older posts re: removing rust and re-furbishing Mark Vs.

If you have questions concerning getting your machine in smooth running condition, just ask! There are many forum members that are willing to help.

Thanks for all the welcomes. Good news i got it running. Got it cleaned up. Now to learn how to use it. So i got the saw setup but it also has the jointer. i think im missing a knuckle for it because i cant figure out how to connect the jointer to the motor. Ive been flipping through the manual with no luck. Defiantly going to be doing some reading in the next few weeks. thanks in advance for any info/help.
