As usual, the dumb news channels can't get it through their thick heads that Florida consists of two time zones. They start counting after the eastern side of Florida closes the polls while the folks in the panhandle still have another hour. I thought they learned this in the 1990's, but again tonight, they started trying to project how Florida was going while our voting was still going on. Argh! To be so educated about our country and this is about a 3rd grade piece of knowledge.
Steve, the old Florida gator

Someone please tell me why the 'networks' spend all that time and $$ trying to prognosticate the 'winner'.

Who cares before it is actually a done deal!

Two time zones in FL is a nit compared to the 3 hour difference from ET to PT.

IMHO they should not be giving results until ALL pols have closed. Neither should they be doing 'exit' polls.

Nor 'surveys' before the election.

Guess I am one of those 'dinosaurs' with no phone.;)

Beeg, it's NOT the Mormon. (Can I say that here?)

Oh, my daddy was born in the same city as Willard (Mitt) Romney's dad.
Somewhere in Mexico!
