Please check my switch hook up

I use a fabric ratchet type gluing clamp to secure the motor to the workbench. But I think that you can actually hold it to the bench with one hand and switch it on. I have a power strip attached to my bench equipped with a switch and I turn the motor on and off via the switch.

I just hold it by hand(firmly!!!). One must have absolute confidence in the grounding to do that!. It only tends to jump when first turned on or off.

If ya set it on its 'legs' and secure it 'down', it should be stable.

Keep in mind we do not want a sound amplifying surface to set it on.

I will figure a way to secure it to my bench top. Not sure if I trust the grounding yet, though it will most likely be ok.

If you are not touching it, it does not matter!;)
