Nope, not I and I have doubts about it being Shopsmith.Lancer_28 wrote:Can someone id this machine?

Nope, not a SS product. That looks like one of the European multi-function machines. There are several companies that make them, but the only one that comes to mind is Kitty.

I think this machine, or another one like it...could there really be 2 of them? was on ebay a while back.
My dad's 1951 10er, 2 more 10er's, same vintage, a Goldie MK5, a 510 shortie with 34inch tubes, bandsaw, jointer, jigsaw, belt sander, a ton of small SS goodies and still looking...you just can't have enough Shopsmith stuff
Might be a system similar to this...

Seemed like a nice, heavy duty system. They show up on CL everynow and then for a few thousand. Relocating it always seemed like the bigest challenge.

That doesn't quite look like an exact match. Same idea, but a bit different.

It is missing a sliding table for the saw function that can also be used with the shaper. Unless that table is available but simply not pictured, you'd lose much of the machine's capability. There also should be a fence for the shaper. The price seems quite good, but without those additional parts, you'd be better off looking for a complete machine.

SCMI Mini Max
After poking around the www, I think this machine is a SCMI Mini Max.
I have requested more photos but they are slow in coming.

It might be an SCMI Mini but it is not of this vintage. This is quite some machine.Lancer_28 wrote:After poking around the www, I think this machine is a SCMI Mini Max.
