shopsmith model id???

The photobucket links show up in the email notification but not in the above post (edit: the empty/blank post). However, from the photobucket pics it is a Mark 5 "brownie." Others can tell you more about it but Shopsmith says this color scheme was made 1960-1963. http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/faq/markv.htm

My 'guess' would be a 'Magna American' Mark 5, Poly-v/1 1/8hp.

The vent plate will reveal the truth.

You have a "Goldie", for obvious reasons. Look on the plate and write down the number and we will show you what month & year it was made. Need that number though. Good luck, stick around, there's a TON of stuff. Also, post where you live and there may be help just down the street from you.

OKAY, I'll bite. A Goldie, a Brownie or a Tannie. Is there a technical difference?

i believe the tag does say 1 1/8 horsepower.

should there be a fence for the table saw? the piece that is there only works for doing angle cuts.

i also know for sure it is missing the headstock and tailstock for the lathe, the chuck for the drill press, and the disk for sander.

anything else someone knows i should have?
