Sometimes things go right. Just as preventative maintenance thing I decided to check the main table alignment. This is what I got with no adjustments. The last alignment was about one year ago and before anyone asks the answer is, YES I do use my SS.

I am not surprised at all. Do a good and complete alignment and it will hold for a long time as long as you do not abuse the machine.

Don't roll it in and out of a pickup truck on wooden ramps or let it bounce on the tires.

What did that dial indicator show you?

I would conclude that you have the procedure down pat and that you have demonstrated just how well the Mark V is designed for it's intended purpose.

Those numbers are better than required for precise woodworking.

Just some additional information on my methodology of making the front to back measurement.
I put the dial indictor in the left miter gauge slot and the table so the saw blade is to the left side of the table and not coming up through the table slot. I believe that this method produces a more accurate result because the measurement is taken over the entire 10" diameter and not a shorter "cutting" segment of the blade.
