This is the stripped down ER. I was excited to see real 2 x 4s.

After halloween and reorg of the garage I was able to focus on a structured/controlled breakdown of this machine. Here you see it half naked.
I am on the fence about the wood. I am going to refinish it however I think I am making a vacuum tray for it.
My over all plan is to detail the hell out of this machine then go back and start doing the modifications.

As an additional resource you could join the Yahoo Shopsmith10ERusers group. There isn't any where near as much traffic as here and I don't find the format as easy to navigate, but there are many knowledgeable members and there is a wealth of information in the Files and Photos sections.

If YOU have any heartburn, about altering any parts, get a replacement off of Ebay, before you alter. You can replacement parts for EVERYTHING on the ER there.

If you don't worry about altering something, DO IT.

Skip's website is GREAT, isn't it? Skip also runs that Yahoo forum.
