I'm looking at a 10ER and am waiting for the price to drop before acquiring it and am interested in using it as a dedicated drill press. How does one go about mounting it to a wall?

There are pics, but you would remove the way tube assembly complete with the tie. Then, using the tilt assembly get it free and mount a plate which to screw to the wall. The tie end can then be mounted in similar fashion. Of course a bit of drilling and tapping is necessary to fab up a bracket but I saw one guy do it and I thought it was very nice. You can use wooden plates similarly mounted to the current way ties as well. I will find a pic.

Here we go. Scroll down to see the wall mount. Very nice. He used the bench tube assembly with the top of the legs for the wall mount. And it seems to be a mark 1 but you get the idea.

I think I'd call that machine a "Mark 10 RE." Mark in reference to it's beginnings as a Mark 5, 10 in reference to the Model 10E/ER that some features have been adapted from, and RE also referencing "ER", but now standing for "Redneck Engineered."
