I guessing your talking about the Fein multi master or its knock offs. I have the harbor freight version which can be found with the regular coupon for $20 or less.missfixit wrote:Oh my - that was a fantastic video because he had a tool he called an "oscillating saw" - now I must get one of those ASAP
Ah yes the oscillating Saw is a great tool. I have purchased three]http://www.amazon.com/Fein-FMM-250Q-STA ... ultimaster[/url]missfixit wrote:Oh my - that was a fantastic video because he had a tool he called an "oscillating saw" - now I must get one of those ASAP
Then I bought two for adult children Christmas gifts. One was a Rockwell the other Craftsman. Neither of which lasted very long. I strongly suggest the Fein Multimaster. Incidentally you really should look at videos on the many uses. We used one last weekend to grind out remnants of a single piece of broken floor tile. It took only a few minutes. Jim

I went to that link to buy it but it's $200!
ok. I will go see what i can see at Harbor Freight this weekend... I am on a budget but I must have that tool. The last time I had to cut baseboard I ended up using a putty knife and pounding on it with a hammer until it split. (mdf baseboard)
sigh. I love tools.

Clearly you are special and I suspect will continue in your loves of tools and woodworking. Best of luck for you. Jimmissfixit wrote:I went to that link to buy it but it's $200!

May I suggest you do a search online for lowest price. I picked the link I did because it "Sometimes" has lower prices. Rockler, Woodcraft and other tool companies are all running specials and should be checked. Jim
