Interesting, wish they had showed more of his foot crank lathe. I have a SIL that fishes quite a lot. Maybe I could make a lure from an old knife. When the fish took it, it may split it open and clean fish while reeling it in. All that would be left to do would be to cook it. Not sure that would work.....
I keep finding little windows on this forum, that I don't really know what they do. So sometimes I experiment. Probably shouldn't do that, I know in my shop it can get me into trouble.

The lathe itself appears to be a "shorty" version of the Craftsman wood lathe model 113.228160 that was sold some years back. There also were some similar looking lathes made in Asia. I'd image it wouldn't be all that difficult to rig one up to an exercise bike by adapting a new wheel axle that allowed you to attach the step pulley.
