I was thinking the same thing Dusty. It seems to me Woodsmith and Shopnotes are the same thing in different packages from the same publisher. Woodsmith also offers a $99 DVD. Do you prefer Shopnotes over Woodsmith?

Are Woodsmith and Shopnotes the same publications OR are they just similar.

Unless I'm mistaken, they are from the same publisher. But there are different. Shopnotes has a focus on shop jigs, shop furniture, and tools and such. Woodsmith has a bit of jigs, but has more of a focus on projects.

Hdoilcan, check out an app called ES File Explorer. It's in the Google Play store and is free. It's a much more advanced file browser, has options for sorting, will browse local network shares, ftp sites, cloud storage sites like Dropbox, Skydrive, etc.

Tom, I have both and they are totally different. They each appear to faithfully present each magazine in every aspect.

Can you tell me how many gigabytes the whole Shopnotes package is? I'm not sure if I have enough space left on my ipad but now that I know they give you pdf files I'm interested.
It's 1.6 gig
I hope you have room because I think you will really enjoy it.
