Without destroying too much anyways.

A bowl (for my mom)
and three pens

First pen is a stylus pen for my son. Blank is home cast fiberglass resin and coffee beans.

Second pen is for my son's long time girl friend another stylus pen in a home cast Polyester resin blank. blue is blue embossing powder and blue tine gold is gold embossing powder

third pen is a long clicker (stocking stuffer for LOML) Timber on this one is from a rosebush root the void is filled with blue tinted Polyester Resin

I also built this up and cut it out using my band saw and scroll saw. My wife is adding photos from my youngest son's Band years that will be modge podged to the top. I'll post photos when she gets done with her handy work.

A five board bench for my parents, just finished today. Wood is Poplar with two coats of clear shellac and four coats of clear gloss lacquer. I chose Poplar because I thought the stark difference between the heartwood and sapwood on the board for the legs and seat was beautiful.

Thanks. I think I do a better job on finishing than I do on the actual woodwork. In the last picture you can see a slight gap between the back of the apron board and the slot on the leg I cut out for it to fit in.

I'm building a new Altar and three new light tapers for my Masonic Lodge meeting room, completely unbeknownst to my brethren. It is of Red Oak with cathedral arched raised panel sides, a 2 in thick caledonia granite top wrapped in a two inch thick oak frame, with all crown trim, moves in four assemblies and yes when done I'll post pics!!!:D

. I've been very blessed this year and wanted to pay it forward so this is how i'm doing it. Merry Christmas to ALL!!

Here is my first attempt at blocks for the grandkids. Maple was the wood choice for this and unfinished for the kids. I got some oak plywood for the boxes but didn't like it, it splintered easily and didn't even really have a nice surface to start with. This was sort of time consuming but I became friends with my table saw and my disk sander.

Here is the run of stools I had to make for the rest of the family after I made the first two. I used black walnut (a favorite) and curly maple for three of the stools and substituted fiddle back maple for the other 3.
These look simple, but lots of time went into them. Planer-jointer-tablesaw-dado-bandsaw-disk sand-drill press-drum sander-hand palm sander-good old hand sanding-teak oil finish as they are for the little kids to brush their teeth in the bathroom. My wife's is a "poop-stool" as proclaimed by her because she can already reach the sink to brush her teeth.
