I opened a message from another forum member earlier. I noticed a short time later, bogus messages were sent to everyone in my Yahoo address book.
I've changed my Yahoo password & hope none of you receive any bogus messages from me.
If you know of any action(s) I can do, thanks in advance.

Yahoo Address Book- virus?
One Greenie, Two Mark 7s,Three 510s and much more…
Tony;
I was getting those type of messages from my son. They got the name spelled correctly and everything but the return E-Mail was wrong. I think that Yahoo has a handle on it because it has stopped at least for now. You may try telling Yahoo.
Also I always read the return address before opening any mail.
Good luck.

I got the same problem on my Hotmail account, somebody was sending messages to all my contacts, the key is that there is no subject.
As I was saying to every contacts, I always put a subject and I do not send messages just for fun stuff that I picked up on internet ...
I changed my password on the recommendation of Hotmail administrator and it stop.
We should be changing our password regularly, it seems to be recommended by many sites.
Of course the problem, for me anyway, is keeping track of all the different passwords, pin numbers as well.
I am getting old, I guess ....
Happy Holidays everyone !
