That's what I use. It works for all ecommerce sites. Just click the button, add a note and it's there. When someone visiting your wishlist clicks the link, it searches amazon (in case an amazon reseller sell that product) if it does not find it, it goes to the link for the product.
Shopsmith should consider amazon as an outlet. Especially for their new sandpaper products.

Amazon certainly reaches out to those that might be interested in what they have to sell.terrydowning wrote:That's what I use. It works for all ecommerce sites. Wish List
There might be something like a wish list already available on the web site (shopsmith.com).
The Shopping Cart seems to retain items that you put in the shopping cart but did not order. Earlier today I put 4 items in the shopping cart and then left the web site without going to Checkout.
I just logged back in and the items are there in the cart.
I went one step further. I shut down my computer and then came back to the shopping cart. It still contains the four items placed there.
I have now logged out, shut down, came back up, entered two other web sites and then logged back in to shopsmith.com. The four items are still in my shopping cart.

Those shopping list at other sites are nice, in fact I have a few of them that I use.
For my tool orders I use a spreadsheet. I can add more information like catalog pages, and see totals and explore different buying options. When I get an order ready I can then look at totals for postage reasons or money at hand and alter the order. I can make a second or third order up and not forget things I had wanted to get but didn't at the time.
Here is an example of my shopsmith orders from my 2013 budget.
I've done this for year and it works for me.

That looks a little too organized for my taste...
I generally use the "outline" function on my office package for most such things. In fact I use it for a lot of different kinds of planning. I don't have to set anything up, I just start typing and as soon as I number 2 lines it says "Oh, this is going to be an outline" and sets it up as such. I can then super easily promote, demote or move up or down anything I have on it.
I do use spreadsheets a little, just not for this.
As far as keeping a running cost total on my hobby wish-list... I try to not do that...

And Shopsmith won't email you to let you know you left something in your cart like the others do.dusty wrote: The Shopping Cart seems to retain items that you put in the shopping cart but did not order.

I make the mistake of filing invoices from all Shopsmith purchases in one file. Recently I needed to find one particular item from an invoice. I found it and made myself a promise to avoid that file at all costs. That file is likley the thickest file in my entire cabinet. If my bride ever looks in it I may receive a really good talking to. Just gotta say Bah Humbug to the list idea. In the past couple years, I asked for and received gift cards for Christmas. Pretty nifty when Santa brought $50 and $200 cards in one year.
In a recent purchase using gift cards, I zeroed out 6 cards with minor amounts remaining (like $2.35, $4.27 eg) and used a larger one to close out the amount needed for the purchase. The only bad thing about this transaction was I had to use the phone. Glad I didn't get Dave. With Linda the call was kinda fun!

I am now using as tonight, the Owner's site and clicking on "Click Here For Order Status and History" But you have to be registered to ge the page & sellect what you want on your personal owner page.
I was finally able to register on the main Shopsmith web page under the Woodworking tab. Then scroll down to Other & click on Personal Home Page and you'll be prompted to register if you aren't. I used to use a link which included my account number and the last 7 digits of my phone number as I wasn't able to register which got me to the order info as my registration would never take.
I am able to see all my orders since Jan 2008. Oh am I in trouble if someone I know ever sees everything I've ordered. I don't use a computer file for my own tracking, but have a copy of every shipping doc/invoice I've ever used or my father prior to me with his account.
Power couplers in March 2008 were only $8.50 a piece!
I like the spreadsheet reible made up. I've 68 orders which have .00 as the last two digits. Holy cow. I know i have many more orders from 2002 or so until 2008. I need to inventory what i have as I know I have many doubles.
A while ago, Jan in CS was nice enough to email complete order list. Before I order anything, I check first.
