Has anybody tried using a Micro Jig Splitter on a ZCI on a Model 520 table? I don't have any guards or riving knife on my unit and since I want to start using ZCI I thought I would go ahead and incorporate the MJ Splitter for additional safety.

I have installed several of the Micro Jig Splitters on table saws and they work great, but I think you may run into a problem with SS getting the blade back to the exact center of the splitters each time. The setup with the MJ Splitter is in thousands. With the table saw the arbor is in a fixed position to the table insert so it is not a problem. The SS riving knife may be a better choice for the SS. The ZCI is a great addition and I have found ¼" Baltic birch ply with formica laminate makes a great one for my 520.aloibl wrote:Has anybody tried using a Micro Jig Splitter on a ZCI on a Model 520 table?
