Today's plan

Post by robinson46176 »

Going to be a cold windy crappy day...
I think I will go down to Wal-Mart for a while and stand around talking to people in the middle of the entry-ways blocking them so nobody can get through. Then I will wander around bleary-eyed banging my cart into peoples ankles. Next I will go out into the parking lot and wander slowly down the middle of the traffic lanes backing up traffic. As a last activity I will climb in my car and drive wildly up and down the same traffic lanes I just blocked, driving as if I were on the interstate... That seems to be what everybody else is doing.
Merry Christmas anyway... :) :) :)

Farmer, you had me worried there for a minute. I thought you were going to say you were applying for a job as a greeter to supplement your SS once we go over the Cliff.:p

I once thought about a part time job to keep me busy and make hobby/playing money. That was back before I retired and was trying to look ahead. I even considered Wal-Mart greeter but changed my mind. If I were to want such a job I think I would go work for one of the local morticians instead... Happier atmosphere... :D
Turns out, I don't really need it.

My fiscal cliff was back in about 1975...
And ran until about 1995... :)

Farmer-

Just make sure you're outrageously dressed. You could then be one of "the people of Wal-Mart"!:p

Sounds like someone got out of bed with the grumps. :D

My buddy applied to be a Walmart greeter, he talked to the manager and everything looked good. The manager asked him if he could start right away my buddy being excited said absolutely. The manager said great, handed him a plunger and said the ladies restroom is plugged.

My buddy took the plunger walked into the Ladies restroom and quit! He said he never saw such a mess. Someone had dumped in the pot and flushed it until everything came out and was floating on the floor. He said no one human could have that much crap in them, it was everywhere.

Merry Christmas :D
