Wixey Digital Angle Gauge Deal

Post by backhertz »

I was watching Nick, I believe, use one of these gadgets. $39 seemed high. I found a place selling them for $26 plus shipping. But that's better than $39 plus shipping. Here it is below for anyone interested:

I bought one at Woodcraft over the week-end, and used it for the first time this afternoon. It works! I was able to adjust both my saw and bandsaw table down to the 1/10 degree.

I was also very impressed with the table stop on my 520. It is repeatable time after time to within 1/10 degree. Through the years I've often wondered how accurate this set-up was.

Unless I'm misreading or misunderstanding something Wixey will ship it for free. That brings the price from them very close to this one with the shipping.

If you are really look at this type of device I think it might be wise to check out the market. Several designs are out there and the feature sets are different. Read some reviews and make an educated purchase, like people like to say "you get what you pay for", I personally have no idea what that means but people always say it so I thought I should too.

If do a seach here you can find out what I bought and why.
