I wish everyone a happy new year, but also wish good health for everyone. I feel bad when folks here have troubled times, but its nice they feel comfortable posting here.

In my line of work that can get you reprimanded, sued, and fired! And not necessarily in that order. I'm in that line of work that everyone here likes to bash on- public education.

Your problem is you aren't old enough. I'm retired to who is going to reprimand me, sue me (can't get blood from a rock) and fired, I wish someone would, the servance would be a great increase to my retirement.

You also got to be old enough so that everyone knows you aren't hitting on them you are only joking with them.

Today too many men try to hit on teenage kids and that is just plain wrong. About once a month or slightly more they announce on TV news of another teacher that was caught having sex with a student in our area. It is a huge problem but just one of many that plague our schools system.

Oh yes and I forgot one thing I tell all the girls how pretty they are. Ever see a girl's face light up that has never had anyone but her parents tell her she is pretty. It breaks my heart to see how beat down some of these kids are because they don't match up with what society has deemed to be beauty.

I think I'd have to be 100 for that to happen!:D Seriously, when there are both men as well as women sent to the Gray-bar Hilton for worse, (actually much worse) it makes one pause. We had one guy here who was in his early 70s who got into trouble when he took his "compliments" a little too far. There were no witnesses, it turned into a "He said, she said" case Now he is on the state sex offender registry. All I'm saying is that in this day and age you need to be careful what you say and to whom.

Okay I'm convinced the next girl that I see that has a face that would scare a bulldog off a meat wagon, instead of telling her how pretty her eyes are, I will simply say you are so ugly did they have to tie a porkchop around your neck to get the dog to play with you?

Most old hags not only appreciate the comment(not that they really believe them), but the attention as well!

Beware of 'old maids' though!

Given time I could probably come up with a descriptor of 'us' equally descriptive.
