First Tea box (any really)

Here is a tea box I made for our oldest daughter who is a tea lover, and a bit green/recycle orientated.
It's made with local Black Walnut and Fiddler Back Maple dividers and Maple dowels. As you can tell, I don't have routing capabilities yet so my projects are just within the parameters of my tools.
Whats cool about the board of walnut is, I used it last year on her birthday for her cutting board and then this year for the tea box. I have enough left for a table spinner (lazy sussan) and some other small kitchen trinkets. She thinks its cool it all came from the same board and will all match in style ect.

Very well done tea table! I absolutely love it! Excellent workmanship!!!!

Although I've never been a fan of using the wain on boards, this tea table shows very beautiful use of the wain edges. Seeing projects like yours may make me a convert yet. Congratulations on your vision.

P.S. I forgot to mention that your choice of hardware reall adds to the piece. Nice choice!!

Thanks for the positive comments.
I haven't heard of wain edges before. My miters turned out real well I thought and I hated to hide them with the corner pieces, but it was the way I had planned it originally.

Forgot to mention the finish was Danish oil 2 coats with 2 coats of wax rubbed out as per "Doug Stowe" videos ect.
