Looking for woodworkers in Southeast Florida to help me. My beloved husband passed away, and I have to sell a Mark V model 520 (2005 in excellent condition) with all major attachments. No idea where to start.

Debra, Sorry to hear the news. I would suggest contacting some of your husband's friends if he was involved in a woodworkers club. If not, check with other family members who might benefit from it. If you are in need of cash, you can search on this forum, Ebay, and Craig's List to get an idea of what these systems will sell for and go from there.
If you need help, you could note where you live and another forum member might try to assist you via PM- private message which is located on the upper right corner of this web page. But that might be opening a can of worms. This forum is full of members who share one interest: woodworking with the Shopsmith.
A Mark V 520 is very expensive when new. But they unfortunately sell for far less than they we originally sold for.
Good luck.

Debra, I lived in that area for a number of years (Lauderhill, Davie, Boca Raton). I'm no longer in the area; however I will be glad to help with advice and the best advice is what backhertz said: use Craig's List or eBay.
There is no Craig's List link for the Boca or Ft Lauderdale area -- Miami and South Florida links are what those folks use. Here's a link to Craig's List in Miami:

Whether you post on Craig's List or eBay, you will improve the chances of getting folks to look at and respond to your ad with good pictures, and a clear, simple list of what you have.
Most important is the actual model of the ShopSmith (and the serial number would be helpful).
Hope that helps. You are welcome to PM (private message) me if you wish.
Regards,
-Shaun-

Also, if you post on Craigslist include both "Shopsmith" and "Shop Smith" in the ad. This way you get anyone who searches for it with/without the space.shaun wrote:Whether you post on Craig's List or eBay, you will improve the chances of getting folks to look at and respond to your ad with good pictures, and a clear, simple list of what you have.
I wish I lived near there. I'd be happy to help you sell it.

Kudos for your excellent listing!
Good Job!
I do hope you get an acceptable offer.
Do not expect too high a one though.
Tis a dream shop for sure, but also a dream purchase for e-bay resellers.
Be patient.
Get contact info for possible later counter-offer by you if their offer is not initially acceptable to you.
Their well cared for condition shows in the pix, although the scroll saw table appears in the pix to have slight surface rust.
Good Luck!!!:):):):):):):):)
P.S. BTW, the belt sander table is mounted upside down!;)
