Latest on eBay

Post by db5 »

Just went to eBay and tried to access information on Shopsmith. I could access information on what was for sale but the selling/bid price was not displayed. I had to click on the item to get that information. I am not going to waste time clicking on something to see if the price is anything I would consider. I wonder what marketing/IT/Webmaster decided this was a good practice. If the information is not easily available I have other things to do with my time. Would you go to a store to buy something only to have to take it to the checkout to find the price? This is similar but takes less time; however, every click on something takes an additional 30 seconds.

I think this new practice has much in common with Obama Care, the California legislature, black holes, vacuum cleaners and Xaviera Hollander (if you don't know who she is Google it); they all suck!

There are those of you who have differing and similar thoughts. What would those be?

I have no issues viewing the current bid amount, # of bids etc. from the search results page - nothing has changed at all in the way E-bay results are displayed for me - something funky's going on with the way you're displaying things rather then there being some new E-Bay results display policy.
'78 Mark V 500 #27995 (my Dad bought new)
'82 Mark V 500 #96309

Do we have an embarrassed, "I'm really stupid, and had to get advice from a septuagenarian to understand this technology"? Well, in agreement with what my wife says and you have confirmed - I don't know everything. After all these years you have utterly destroyed me. Wait 5 years (statute of limitations is 7) and I can sue you when Hillery is in office.

We still need a "blushing, embarrassed" icon. Would I have clicked on that? Yes and it would have saved JPG the anxiety of being sued in 5 years.

That sound strange. Try using another Browser like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc. Good luck.
