The suspense is killing me

Post by cincinnati »

About 3 weeks ago I placed an order for the Shopsmith belt sander. Last week I get a message my order has been shipped. Turns out it was the pocked oilier and mounting base that was sent. Disappointed but Shopsmith did say it would not be sent till the 27. Well yesterday I get an e-mail my Sander has been sent. GREAT!!! It will be here next day. Last night the package tracked to a place near Columbus, Ohio. WHAT!!!!! I live in Cincinnati. Oh well it will be here when I get home from work. Get home, no package. Package shows it has not moved from the night before. Tonight the package is tracking its way back to Shopsmith as undeliverable. Address unknown.
I use to get my major tools from the retail store in Dayton, Ohio. It was only an hour drive. Looks like I will miss using it this weekend. Sure do know how to make a guy suffer.

OK. There may be hope.
A call to FedEx said package was on it's way back to Shopsmith. But now the package is in Cincinnati. Go figure. If in Cincinnati my sander is only about a 15 min drive from my house. If it goes back to Dayton I will have a stroke.

I remember that belt sander. Had to chase it all over the factory before we could catch it. Took three of us sitting on the box lid just to get the thing strapped in. Careful when you first unpack it; if it doesn't settle down we may have to send you our "belt sander whisperer."

With all good wishes,

I have been wondering if the replacement zero clearance inserts that were 1/8" too short have been cornered and shipped.
