In case you don't get a specific answer, I work in an industry that has standard dealer/territory agreements and we do have big box store dealers. The restrictions are always on how the seller markets/advertises, not where the customer is from. If you in AZ had a local dealer, but ordered my product at a dealer in TX while out of town, its a fair sale as long as he wasn't advertizing back in AZ to lure you there. It's all designed to prevent dealers from poaching customers from eachother and getting in price wars.dusty wrote:When an order is placed (at any particular location) the buyer must provide a "deliver to" address.
Does that "deliver to" address need to be in the area of the Lowe's that is hosting the demo?
Example: If I am visiting my brother where he lives and we happen upon a demo one Saturday morning, can I become an impulse buyer and order the PowerPro but have it delivered to me here?
I don't see why SS would be any different. You also would be entitled to any show discounts as well because it would be considered anti-competitive to deny the discount based on the customer's address.
