Got a PM from a forum member that stated the saw dust sessions do not wotk for him(with a few exceptions).
Any one have advice/direction/explanation? They still work for me.
He was suggesting I remove the link to them from my stickey in the M&R forum.

There are many "Saw Dust Sessions". To say that they don't work or to dispute that statement are just to general.
I know that there are a couple that have been pulled down and I don't know why. Maybe they were pulled down because they had problems. Maybe they have been put back up.
Maybe, maybe, maybe.
I just checked three of them that seemed to work fine. I did not view the entire session, just the beginning.
If the OP would provide some specifics - I'd bet that they get verified.
I checked the following three:
Session #24, Setting Up the Shopsmith Shaper
Session #11, Cleaning and Lubrication the Mark V
Session #3, Replacing Switches
This is a very cursory check. There are 24 Sawdust Sessions and each one of them has four or five sub-sessions.
Some of the Shop Tips do not work and have not for some time. I know now why.
The Sawdust Sessions were a learning experience for Nick, Drew and whoever else assisted in their production. The equipment that was used changed from time to time as did the recording format. Therefore, the Sessions are not all the same. There shall be some variations in performance.

There's lots and lots of things that can cause 'problems' with viewing videos. I believe the Saw Dust sessions are Flash videos and not all devices will work with Flash. Here's a link to a browser check that I use frequently that will check the status of the various browser plug-ins and if they are up to date.

I linked to one in a post to a new user and he sent me a PM that he couldn't access it. I tried and had no luck either. So I sent an email to the admin and he mentioned that he didn't upload them and some are just no longer available.
Here is the video in question - Setting jointer knives. The video has been replaced with a message that says it is no longer available.

Maybe somebody on this forum has recorded that video on his or her computer and could send it to admin and that way it could be recovered.
But as I was reading the notice on Copyrights at the bottom of the web page listing the sawdust sessions, I do not think it was possible to upload them.
I have not tried anyway.
May be the master tape on which it was recorded still is in the archives at Shopsmith or with Nick or Drew.
As Dusty said ..... " maybe, maybe, maybe. "
