I have a Peeping-Tom in the neighborhood

Post by bffulgham »

What I thought might have been an April Fools' joke had, perhaps, escalated into something more serious. I first saw this guy mid-afternoon on April 1. He was lurking in a neighbor's yard a block east of me. I sighted him again on April 8 in the trees a block ease and a block south. I saw him again today just before lunch as he strolled through my front yard and peeked in my office window. He started hot-footing away to the west when he knew I was on to him. But, I have the pictures to prove he was around.

That's more like a peeping Jake. Watch out for turkey bombs.

Share some of Tom with the deputy. He may even assist in preparation. :D

I'd say you are pretty lucky to have a turkey so close. And one that will stick around for pictures.

PBS had a show on Nature "My Life as a Turkey". I found it worth watching but the ending was not what I was expecting.... If you haven't seen it and are into Nature watch for it.
