Oh-oh! Email sale--

Post by keakap »

This could be trouble. The Double-Tilt Base Upgrade just went on sale, I haven't bought anything big in a while, and it's half a year away from Christmas shopping season.

Any thoughts on the double tilt feature upgrade? Worthwhile? A good way to "refresh" one's 'foundations', so to speak? And maybe a larger consideration: is there a down side?

Dang- I can almost feel my credit card trying to slide out of the wallet in my pocket.

I think that the main downside is that you lose the ability to leave any SPT in place when you raise into drill press mode.

Thanks, Mike. I can see where that would be a consideration.
But for me, not so much, as I have only the Band Saw and the Jointer, either of which comes off when I drill-press. (I didn't like the hula moves made by the B/S with the Offset Extenders, so I took 'em off.)
But I will keep this in mind when I decide. [Dang wallet's heatin up- it wants to come OUT!]
