Does anyone have one of these? Is it worth $70.98 shipped?
Anyone know the lengths when fully extended and retracted?
Also, in this picture there is an extra set of holes in the carriage. Was this an install error or from something else? I'm not sure i like the look of open screw holes.

It looks like it was a install error, they put the bracket on the wrong side. If you blow it up it looks like there are two more on the bottom. It would not be worth it to me.
I keep a old 6 ton bottle jack (Yes I know it is overkill, but it is what I have) next to the SS for adjusting the headstock in the up position. Usually I will just drop the headstock to horizontal make the adjustment and then raise it back up.
