Having problem accessing New Posts

Post by kalynzoo »

The last few, maybe more than few, times I have tried to open "new posts" on the tool bar I get the notice "sorry no matches".
Did something change?

Try logging out and then back in again, that has worked for me when "unread posts" are not being handled properly. I think the cookie that keeps track of what has been read gets corrupted and logging out resets it.

Gary:

I have had this problem for over a year now. Sometimes "new Posts" show up , sometimes I get the message "Sorry ......"

I just go into each section of SS Forums and click on the title and all the new post in that section are in bold.

It is a pain, but that's the only solution I could come up with.:(

Rebooting the computer has worked for me. Sometimes ending that browser 'iteration' and starting over will work.

I am suspicious multiple browser 'iterations' running simultaneously can cause this. I currently have 9 firefox browser 'sessions' running(8 in minimized background state).

A nice 'feature' of firefox is it will usually restore all previous sessions when rebooting 'terminates' them.

Thanks for the comments. I too have been just searching each forum for newer posts. Mostly I wanted to know if it was my PC or a system problem. Since others have shared my frustration I will worry no longer.
