If I had a second 500 table in which the original support posts were removed, turned so the rack was on the opposite side and then re-mounted in the carriage, wouldn't that work with the double tilt kit as a dedicated under the table routing/shaping table? Thanks - Alec

I hope so! Been thinking along that line myself, but I will be reversing the headstock(with reversible motor) rather than the table and only tilting to the right - It would be a dedicated setup.

Also have considered a second 510 table and converting the 510 to double tilt(ala JPG) and using an upgraded power pro headstock.

Ahhh so many 'ideas' and so little time and $.;)

Double Tilt Upgrade on Model 500

Post by stephen_a._draper »

I have installed the double tilt upgrade on my Mark V model 500 and it works great! It is not difficult and requires no special tools or parts. Details are found in my thread located here:

Could you post a picture of the pins that are discussed?

Here are the pictures of the two pins on the front post. There is one on each side. The rear post has the same thing. Just use a punch and hammer them through from the outside. They will fall out through the center of the post. Mine has the new posts with teeth on both sides.
