I saw an estate sale on Craigslist that just said Shopsmith Equipment. I emailed and they had a bunch of accessories on power stations. Asking $150 each.

I bought a band saw, scroll saw and a belt sander for $350. He also had a jointer and a router which I passed on (already have). When I was walking back into the house I saw a strip sander, no base and told the guy I wished I'd seen that and commented I only had $40 left. Sold, he said.

I think I did pretty good for $390 total.

They cleaned up nice.

no correlation at all.

There are several units for sale locally

http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/tls/3963130346.html

well there were more but this one looks like a pretty good deal for $150.

I could have bought a jointer with stand for another $100 but 1) I didn't need one 2) I was out of cash and 3) my car was pretty filled up by then.
