I wasn't being sarcastic. I furnished my first apt at age 19 with curb shopping....except for the bed because that's something I will only buy new. Even got a washer and dryer that had minimal cat urine on it, cleaned right up with a couple gallons of bleach. My favorite score was a burnt orange velour lazy boy. I do buy nicer stuff now though...lots of people (surburban yuppies) buy expensive furniture and redecorate very couple years.

Still off subject but I can't help it.

It is a good thing you don't live in Iceland. An interview I heard on NPR talked about how they don't do resale shops because the the "Class" differences that brings out.

I only heard a segment so I hope I got this right. Anyone else catch this?
